Hello I found this forum thanks to Google it seems pretty interesting and I would like to learn more this place. I Love Retro games.. I am talking about nes snes, sega genesis, gameboy etc... I came from that era and loved 2d fighter a bunch.. I started learning how to do pixel art some few years ago and been doing it ever since...worked on a few fan made games and a xbox 360 indie one! ( it got canned!) There seems to be a lot going on here! I hope become apart of this community
I made a thread! I guess it should pop up when a moderator has a look at my stuff! Are there other pixel artist around in this fourm? I see that there are plenty of coders. So there has to be a few here!
Yeah i was looking at the art nina has posted up...Really good stuff! I am surpised that not many other pixel artist dont know about this place...it seems like place to go for both pixel artist and coders oh wellz
Nina is very talented for sure, haven't seen her much on the boards lately though. There's a lot more programmers than artists here, but if you know more people who like pixel art get them to join us too
I know a lot actually ! We usually end up working on our art hoping someone contacts us asking to work or something...I think most of us would like to see our art in a game! I know i do
I'm guessing you also have a DeviantArt, best place to get your art noticed a lot more. Some people get recruited from there I believe. One day you'll see your art in game, you're pretty good
