That's pretty much what I said. i wouldn't do that to my kid, or anyone ealse's kid for that matter. But it's like with hidden camera or "funny accidents". You wouldn't laugh if it happend to you, but since it already happend to someone ealse, I guess it's okay to laugh. That doesn't make you a bad person, now does it. If you were there, you would say "Come on man, that's not cool". But you weren't. And it did happend. So it's all over, and we now have this video.
If this is a stepchild from a previous marriage, I can tell the guy has some SERIOUS psychological issues regarding adequacy, and resenting the previous husband and father of the child. This is his way of "striking back", in some sort of way. You can tell, because this is a desperate way of showing some sort of wit, or superior adulthood / manhood by exposing the child like this. That kid is bound to have a seriously interesting childhood. I'd like to know how mommy reacted, though.
