Still in the UK there are new jobs being created as long as you want to be a shop assistant, shelf stacker or checkout person.

Um, there are?!?!? How many Woolworths closed?? Not really creating jobs - that's creating lots of unemployed people needing jobs!

We have two Waterstone's here. The paper this week said they'll be closing one - the bigger one!

My company went out of business and I've been unemployed for about a month now! I hated my job and my company so I'm mostly okay with it. But it would be nice to be earning money so I could be spending money, especially since I'm getting married in June!

    From http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/7839361.stm
    • Supermarket chain Tesco plans to create up to 10,000 new jobs with new store openings this year
    • Sainsbury's to create 5,000 new jobs this year, in 50 new convenience stores and a small number of new supermarkets
    • Supermarket chain Waitrose to create 4,000 new jobs as part of an expansion drive
    • Frozen food chain Iceland to create 2,500 jobs after buying 51 former Woolworths stores
Seems a bit dumb to close the bigger one, but I hate places where there are two or three of the same places in a short walk from each other. Hope starbucks close more of their stores...
