Exactly. Plus it would be good for some people who don't want to pay to go and see it because it will most likely be put on the net after they show it over there.
Wait, if they are showing the entire saga, why are they starting with Star Wars and ending with Revenge of the Sith? Wouldn't it make more sense to show The Phantom Menace, Attack Of The Clones, Revenge, Star Wars, Empire, and then Jedi? Or, if you want to save Revenge for last, show them in the same order but move Revenge from third to sixth place? I know Star Wars, Empire, and Jedi were made first, but if you're going to show them all at once, why not follow the chronology? I suppose I have put entirely too much thought into this... Seeing the originals on the big screen would rock though, provided they aren't the raped special editions.
Of course they're the raped special editions! George Lucas is an atrocity! And I'd lose all faith in the film industry if he makes remakes of them.
Too old... He is too old to begin the training. One of my local theaters is having an all day Starwars day, showing them in order. Tempted I am, but temptation leads to the dark side of the force.... A slightly releated story: Back in 97' (I say that like it's ancient history or something) I got to go to a sneak preview of the Episode IV Special Edition. It was rad, they gave everyone a poster and t-shirt, we all got free popcorn and soda, they bought hamburgers for the whole theater, they were giving away action figures and stuff for little contests, like who could do the best Chewbacca impression, it was great. So anyway, I like the Special Editions.
