Hello, did you dreamed getting alot of gaming stuff for free? I Was Dreamed about getting a Box where was full of games. But at that Dream I did not own these kind of consoles.
Lost World Dream.txt Dream on: 10-8-02 Time: Morning I was playing Sa Windy Valley as Sonic. I made it to the tornado and it looked like I was going up as usuall, but then I fell down. I keept falling until I enterd this one strange Zone. The zone itself was purple with a hint of brown rocks. I collected rings until I saw strange 2d characters dancing on the floor. I tilted the camera so that it was in the wall a little bit, some sort of dancing Naka Doll/hologram! It kept changing shapes. I saw a strange passage way juting out of a wall but it was too high on the wall for Sonic. I decided to move to the Goal Ring(In Sa???) Knuckles appeard in the beginging of the level. This time it wasnt so freaky, no strange caracters so I moved to the tunnel. I then fell through the Lost World Tunnel and beat the level. Then E-102 entered the Strange Zone. I collected some rings and hovered a bit then went to the Goal Ring. Then I selected Eggman's Eggwalker Mk.II(Again from Sa2?!?) I moved a bit then I woke up. I hope I Finish this dream...
I get it a LOT. To the point it gets annoying. The oldest dream I can still remember I had a hack job of connecting multiple Atari, Intellivision, Colecovision, etc to create a monster game system that had a very realistic video and sound and fully interactive 3D effect. Today's system comes close but they are still missing the interactive 3D part. Kinict is interactive but no 3D effect. I've also dreamed of games that don't exists including a frequent Legend of Zelda/Megaman crossover. And I've dreamt of finding games in the wild that has not been released or is really rare such as a pink 2600 cart with T-handle like Air Raid cart and a prototype arcade cab for Final Fantasy game.
I once dreamt that I bought a box full of sealed Japanese Sega Saturn games which don't exist, such as "Harmful Park" or "Dracula X: Chi no Rondo" for Sega Saturn. I thought I must have been the only one who has these in the world and I can still remember the covers and all (same as PS1, but with golden Saturn spinecard ). Then I woke up and it took me a few seconds until I realized, with disappointment, that the box full of one-of-a-kinds was a dream
Ahaha, gaming dreams. I really wanted a Gamecube when I was younger, and I definitely dreamed of it before I got it. And more recently, I was at a garage sale and found a huge stack of NES prototypes (in a refrigerator, I believe). Instead of picking them up, I took a look at everything else on sale, turned around, and of course some other guy was buying them. Heh, I get the feeling most posts here are going to involve protos.
I've had several dreams where I found out I already had some really cool gaming item, and I had just forgotten about it. Some of them involved finding some really rare piece of development hardware I've never seen before (and which does not exist in reality), but I can't remember exactly what they were. I've also had several dreams that were reminiscent of Half Life. I've had more than one dream that was very similar to the "Apprehension" level, the one with the Ichthyosaur. I had to go to the bottom of a large pool and get something/turn some valve. I had another one that involved a hydro-electric dam, like the one in Half Life, as well as a giant kitten. I also had a dream once that later inspired me to make a 3D animation, and my friend commented that it reminded him of Half Life. The thought didn't even occur to me at the time.
I had a dream that I found an NEC super grafx in a dusty flea market in the deep south, like in Florida or something.
I've definately had some about finding games at weird stores/malls. I think the strangest dream I've had that was gaming related was during my Diablo II days. I was talking to someone in the dream but when they talked to me they had the dialog pop-up box over their head and I had to press on topics to respond to them. I also recall having written down a Starcraft dream, but what happened during it, I don't remember.
I've had a few dreams about finding a store with lots of good used games on some random street, then being worried about not being able to find it later.
I once had a dream that I was Toon Link and was running around my dream environment in 3rd person. Not an exciting dream but it sure was one of the most trippy and psychadelic dreams I've had.
I always have dreams that Nintendo releases sequels to their videogames in the form of handheld gaming systems that only play that one game, a little like updated Game & Watches. I walk into a store and there they are, Super Mario Brothers 4, Zelda IV, and Star Tropics 3, all of them in cardboard boxes covered in the kind of artwork Nintendo games used to have in their manuals.
