The original Sony Playstation. By far it was the best machine ever made.

That's what you get when answering the same question each year :)

I know the 3DO isn't the best console on paper, not even close and probably even one of the worst.
But the question is YOUR favourite console, so there: my personal favourite console from which I have the best memories (besides the same old answer NES/SNES etc) is the 3DO!

    SNES, Mega Drive, Xbox 360.

I *would* say CD32 but that would be a little bit of a lie. I have very fond memories of Amiga games, but have never owned a CD32. Maybe that should be my next purchase? :p

It's a toss up for me between the SNES and Mega Drive. I find myself going back to the SNES more than anything. NES and Saturn come in at a very close second.

I see. And in fact, I was more worring about the lack of PC Engines in here.

In this thread, I feel like being in a different forum. But probably I'm just getting old. Oh no, that is a fact too.

Y'know, Tatsujin, I love the PC Engine, but I never had one until like... 2000 or so, and I still don't have the CD Rom for it. They're hard to come by down here.

I love it, really do, most of all for its significance, and its library is full of historical flair. It has awesome games, and it's really sexy... but I can't say it's my favourite because... well, I have barely experienced it firsthand.

I wish I could get a Duo, though. It's one of my holy grails.

Definitely the SNES, for it's vast library of JRPGs. When I'm through with those eventually, I guess I'll continue on the PS2.

    Another 3DO vote ofcourse!

Some things that i love on this console:

Its games (i can play all day long gex, captain quazar...etc.)
    Its durability (panasonic consoles).
    The M2 sadness and obscurity.
    Consoles design (FZ-1)
    ...........
