I am a massive 80's fan since I was born in 1975. Anyway, this week I found a beautiful track that I had never even heard of. I can't believe I didn't know this song since it was even a top 10 hit in the UK. RAH Band - Clouds Across The Moon - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2cXqHWur5Uk

It's classed as Jazz Funk but I wouldn't say so.

Oh yes. I know Taco. Classic 80's for sure.

I actually think I have heard them (no joke), cause I have heard so much synthpop , and electro over the years. And the music reminds me of Page Dansande Man .

rso: I know of Client, cause before they were called Client, then I knew of Technique . And Client has a Depeche Mode connection, Andrew Fletcher .
    Yeah, I am an Electro/synth maniac /fan :)

Weird to find somebody else who even thinks they have heard of them. Only other person I know is my brother and he doesn't listen to them anymore.

But seriously, if you are into synth and electro. Then I would recommend you the bootleg compilations, known as Papapop , and The Synthetic Music Collection. But if you want "obscure" then I could recommend you Red Flag, which to me back in the day was obscure.

Cyantist: I love music, and I think the reason why I have heard of The Capricorns is because during a period of the early 00´s I dived through a LOT of synthpop. Heck when youtube went up , I "swam through" even more synthpop and electro music.

Another "obscure" song and artist that I can recommend is Wave In Head with the song The Other Side. How I learned about Red Flag was because I had a Depeche Mode bootleg where they were on. And how I learned about Apoptygma Berzerk, was that I heard an awesome cover of Enjoy The Silence, and a friend of mine showed me Unicorn, and I began to dig up information about Apoptygma, and I found out, that Stephan Groth is half Danish, and he was born and raised in Odense on the Island Funen where H.C. Andersen was born and raised too.

But seriously if you are looking for obscure Danish Electronic/Synth music, then search on youtube for Danish Synth Festival I was to the first Festival , back in 2008. And no you will not see me on any of the videos.

You might 'Cloud seed' by Vex'd. Never got on with Burial and atmospheric dubstep in general myself. Burials collaboration with Four Tet is pretty good though.

I have one of their 7", 'do the whirlwind'. Not bad.

The Grails are good, their cover of Space Prophet Dogon being excellent:

Not really reflective of the band though, they usually do much more down tempo stuff.

I don't think Nosaj Thing is all that well known. I really like "Quest."

That's kinda sad, but also kinda funny. It reminds me of that song that plays at the Tomato store in Shenmue.

If comedy = tragedy + time, then that would be pretty funny because that's 26 years of tragedy. She's been waiting all this time, and he's still on Mars.

Anyway, I like the sci-fi-ness of it.
