What'd you say? I hate school. It's time to sign up for shit again but i'm thinking of saying fuck you to school. So far it's been a total waste of my fucking time and money.
What I really hate is how hollywood keeps brainwashing teens into thinking that college is a 24/7 party fueled with sex and booze. The only movie I saw which gave you a glimpse at how ball busting college really is was "dead man on campus" and yet it was just the tip of the iceberg. my main points were: -i don't play during the day, only at night after people are in bed. -if i was spending the time that i play videogames, painting or playing soccer instead, we wouldn't be having this conversation. it's just because it's video games!! 0_0 -when i play, i'm always playing with my brother, and other friends. it's not like i'm playing WoW in my room by myself. -i compared the time that i play videogames to the time that my dad and sister spend on the computer, as well as the amount of time spent watching movies. which the times were pretty similar except with the games i'm actually communicating and socializing with friends and not just sitting on the couch or surfing the web for hours at a time. -my dad said he wouldn't care how i spent my time if i was working towards my goals in life. so i told him that on friday i'm being certified for a management position at Blockbuster. -i work with high schoolers on wednesdays and every other tuesday i get together with some homies to discuss the deeper things in life. and i listed some other activities that i do. so yeah. that's what i said. i don't think they were expecting me to actually defend myself. i think they thought i would just accept what they had to say, with no problems. they didn't really have anything to say after i layed down all the facts. :lol:
Thats cool. My mom has said I play too many games too, but I usually just say there isn't anything else to do around here, which is true. Plus I'm being social by being antisocial, I guess. Lately everything just sucks. I'm back to being sick so it's tough to go anywhere. At least I haven't had problems going to work.
Well i found out i won't be doing what i wanted to at college this year that i should have really been doing last year. I failed an exam and missed out on some classes so was re-taking them again up untill summer this year but becuase of some mistake by the college and kinda a mistake by myself as well i'll have to do the exam again and one class as well as other classes of my choosing to make up a full timetable. Will now be taking the intended course next year instead of this year or even last year.
Stuck in work, nothing to do and I can't go home until 5pm. To top it all off it's as humid as hell and being from the UK you can probably guess I hate humidity since we don't really have itt here or at least not like Japan. Bored bored bored bored bored FUCKING bored. I think I'll watch some more Father Ted on the phone. Yakumo

Hardest thing I have to do today is pack my suitcase, which seems an easy job to do but I have to fit in Clothes, Playstation 3, Games, Electrical items, books and keep the thing under 22kg...
In a few hours I'll be leaving to my hometown to see my parents (after all i have a 2 week vacation), they said on the phone that we needed to have a looooooong conversation. I hate long conversations.
Well, it wasn't too recent (happened in late April), but someone was working with a walking stacker (think electric forklift but without the bulk of the cab and whatnot) that went haywire and bumped a fire sprinkler head. This was in the back room, so it wasn't disasterous, but even shutting off the water meant an extra 10 minutes of water pouring out. I got to call the fire department to tell them it was a false alarm (any water discharge from the sprinkler system sends an alert to the fire department), but a couple of guys ended up showing up anyways, along with the fire marshal. Cleanup wasn't exactly fun with water getting all over merchandise and in every nook and cranny in the back room. Mind you, this happened at 630am and my day ends an hour after that... Then there was the time where a 5 foot section of natural gas line was ripped out by an ICS (Inventory Control Specialist) associate using the same piece of equipment...from what I heard, management was totally useless. One even used an electric scissor lift to see if the cutoff valve was located nearby. It took an associate to get things under control by opening the bay doors and getting everyone else out. The store wasn't even evacuated and it was about 20 or so minutes before things were under control. Gotta love WalMart...
My shitty day (well, actually night). A client contacts me for a website I had to make for him and hand in like.. uhm, 5 months ago... I never did anything else for the site as I was waiting for stuff he had to send to me, that he never actually did. So he calls me a couple of hours ago and tells me he is sending the files right away and wants everything done by tomorrow :| I don't have many options other than doing it, cause he paid in advance XD... I know it's my bad, but it actually sucks having to translate tons of pages and doing 80% of the site in one night : / Damn. It's gonna be a long long night.

That reminds me about the site I'm doing right now: should've been online in late march, but now I dont know if I'll be able to get it for august:shrug: Granted, things were bigger than I thought and the guy whos helping me with the code miscalculated the average development time, but at least I'm getting a site that gonna be much cooler than originally planned:nod: Anyway, 'bout your site, is it too big/complex? or just the average run-off-the-mill?
