Site News - 4th January 2013

A Happy New Year to all and we start off the new year with the Super Famicom section finally being added to the site!! It took a long time coming but it’s finally here. So far there are only 12 games listed out of my pretty big collection but I will be adding more in the near future. So for now sit back and enjoy looking at Actraiser 2 - Araiguma Rascal - Assault Suit Valken - Bishin Densetsu Zoku - Cosmo Gang the Video - Darius Force - Donald in Maui Mallard - Final Fight 2 - Shanghai III - Sonic Blast Man -Super Donkey Kong 2 and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in Time .

I have been a bit pre-occupied so I haven't updated the blog much till now, finally got some better external shots of the system and have uploaded them to the site. Also one reader shared some YouTube videos on the system and I have posted links to those also.

So started updating with new content. Added some trial discs and a few differences between standard and limited editions.
Grand plan for the future is to showcase the collection and add a paragraph or two about games i've enjoyed and hopefully add some gameplay videos.
But for now just adding trial discs and various games. Please stop by if you have an interest in Japanese dreamcast software.

Unfortunately, the youtube exporter is being a pain in the ass again, as is Windows Movie Maker, so I can't seem to transfer it into an easier viewing format. Anyone happen to know of a good streaming program that saves the full videos? OBS seems to lose all the audio when I set it to "Record"

Oh, also kept the stream going afterwards and discussed a variety of topics ranging from MMOs to tabletops to pro gaming to marvel and comics!

Yep, a load of stinky pants that game was. Bug then again so are most if not all games on that console.

 

Ah ah it is, what were Bandai thinking when they released that console??? I need to try more games, particularly DBZ and Gundam, I don't have high expectations but I do enjoy playing the the old interactive movies like Road Blaster FX, Thunder Storm FX and Night Trap. Might do more captures soon, though I can't seem to find where the clipping in the soundtrack is coming from grrr...
