Another year over, time to look back at what 2012 brought to your collection! I've recorded a video of the 5 items I got in 2012 that I consider the best additions to my collection http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wiJiJuRuHmk I'm curious to see what your top 5 is and why you choose those 5 (or 3, or 10, or 100 whatever you prefer ^^)

My third Katana, second GD Writer and second System-Disc 2 should be strong contenders and I am naturally grateful for the opportunities to reacquire them, however I have been down this road before. My best new to me or great deals of 2012 are: 1) Sega Katana Set 2.1 Development Board aka NEC PWH-6032 ARC1A - not very cheap or useful at all but a great piece of history to learn from. 2) HKT-7500 Twin Stick by Sega for Sega Dreamcast at less than half price. 3) HKT-7300 Arcade Stick + Sanwa JLF-TP-8YT OBSF-30 JLF-H GT-Y JLF-CD for Sega Dreamcast Cost a fortune but worth every penny. Can't afford to mod my spare stick just yet. 4) HKT-4300 Dreamcast Karaoke by Tokyo Electron for Sega Dreamcast at a very good price 5) NEOP22020 SNK Neo Geo Pocket Color to Sega Dreamcast communication connector cable at a fair price A noteworthy mention is that thanks to very few bidders I got 2 sets of HKT-9700 Samba de Amigo Controller for Sega Dreamcast for less than the going rate for one. Happy days!

I'm cheating here because I didn't actually find it - I've owned it for a number of years.... But, when we moved to Italy about 5 years ago I left a load of boxes with my brother for safe keeping (... yeah right!) - As the years have passed, slowly, very slowly.. the boxes have arrived on the various trips my father has made back and forth from London to Rome... but one box, with my PAL NR Reader and a beta of The Incredibles never seemed to arrive.. in fact, he assured me they'd brought everything over, gone through his (damp) shed thoroughly, and there was nothing left... I had all but given up...Then, about a month ago, on one of his last trips, he brought back two boxes and lo and behold, there it was! I honestly thought it was lost, probably smashed to pieces by his 2 year old daughter who's favorite pass time is playing with old iPhones and iPods... usually throwing them on the floor very hard. So, my biggest find? Something I already had but thought I'd never see again... Of course, this doesn't mean I've reached glory road - sadly, a PAL NR Reader won't boot the NTSC beta! In fact, if any trusted members want to pm about ripping and releasing it for the forum in the new year, feel free to get in contact.
Earthworm Jim for the Gameboy for only 5€ with box and manual. It might be the worst version of the game, but I just like the retro thought of it and it's cool to play it in my pink Gameboy Pocket. The rest are just games which has been released this year and I enjoyed it playing more or less Sonic & Allstars Racing Transformed, my first game for the Wii U and bought it with it. Great game, Sega at it's best and Mario Kart really has to catch up to beat this game. Great fun, even though I've only played single player mode so far (but already beat it). Pokémon White 2, maybe the best game of the year, I <3 Reshiram, that's why I had to get the version with White Kyurem. Pokémon always rules IMO Paper Mario Sticker Star, I always loved the Paper Mario series, that's why I had to get this one too (and I also was one of the first 100 purchasers here in Germany, that's why I got the limited Sticker Book as well), don't like it that much like the previous games, but it's ok. The battle system is stupid though if you compare it to the other games Poképark 2: Wonders Beyond Limited Edition, or maybe that is the best thing I purchased this year, I dunno. I just love PKMN Games so much ^^; The limited Pack came with one small figurine of the starters, I chose Snivy as she's my fave off the three Unova starters.
