http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2...-suddenly-targeted-for-copyright-infringement WOW, just WOW. I posted a thread about one of my videos getting removed. At the time I, as the other comments suggested thought it was some random troll that flagged the vid. Just learned today that this is happening to alot of videos. If its a troll, its one determined bastard. Heck, even the Shining Force SOS campaing, which is just videos of people expressing they love for the series as the 20th anniversary of the series was march of last year, were flagged as well. Real d-bag move sega. You used to be cool.
"Like said in the article, SEGA denied it was them." Well, that reply was from SEGA customer support, probably in the U.S. They claim are coming from SEGA of japan, as the claimants email is Fujii_Mutsuhiro@sega.co.jp This it might even be either personal retaliation from the currect producer of the Shining Force series, or 2ch trolls. Excert from Shining Force Central(SFC), post by Moogie, the creator of SFC, the mecca to Shining Force fans: by Moogie » Sat Sep 15 2012 9:42am The primary goal of the SOS campaign was to thank Camelot for their work on the series & to celebrate the anniversary. We also included a letter in Japanese referring to the recent tragedy in Japan and sending our well wishes to them in the difficult time. I had thought that a bundle of gifts and thank yous might be considered a little ray of sunshine in an otherwise dark time. Sega were only sent a covering letter & disc with scans of the letters/photos of the gifts etc, in a bid to show them that fans really loved what Camelot did with the series and to express how thrilled we would all be if the two could work together again. No 'demands' were made, the campaign was supposed to be a positive thing. There was some bad talk going down on 2ch about the campaign and SFC in general at the time, amongst fans of the new style Shining series. It was rumoured that one 2ch poster was indeed Mr Sawada himself or a close associate. The things said were anything but nice, and a couple of members here posted some less than nice comments in response (here, rather than there as non Japanese cannot post on 2ch). Mr Sawada somehow saw these responses and it rubbed him up the wrong way. He sent me a rather nasty message, and never responded when I tried to explain the situation. Essentially the messages which were posted here were in response to someone at 2ch who may or may not have been Mr Sawada. The fact that he took them to heart implies that he was indeed the rude poster on 2ch, as I explained to him that the messages were not directed at him but at a 2ch poster. Nonetheless he proceeded to stop me from following him or the various Shining PR accounts on twitter and was generally unprepared to listen to my explanations on the matter. Perhaps something was a little lost in translation, but his messages came across as incredibly arrogant and downright nasty. It made me wonder if he even realised he was talking to a woman. http://forums.shiningforcecentral.com/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=22715&start=20
