    Anybody else hit up youtube's april fools day gag?

    You can view HD videos built with text. Just go to where you set the video res and pick textp.

    The new Mario Galaxy 2 trailer is pretty bitchen with it.

    they said its saving them money.

    They should have kept it around. It was an interesting feature to fool around with.

    And if anyone actually believed that they were saving $1 per second, per video being streamed, they are in fact a fool.

    If you use VLC, it's got a similar feature. Just enable the color ASCII art video output from the preferences.

    Yeah specially since the video is still streamed to you. You can flip on and off textP mode with out it needing to re-download portions of the film (unlike when you flip between res).
