I added this item to my watch list a while ago hoping to have a bid when it was due to end but someone pulled a fast one on me and asked for a buy it now price.

I have been searching for more information on it myself but can't seem to find anything. I have checked the Zelda collectors collection pictures but they don't seem to have a listing for it either.

I wonder where it came from? It looks as though it should be a bundle in game or maybe a budget release?

    What do you think?

Just looks like a pack in game that came with the GC later in its life.

I know I've seen them at local used game stores recently. If you'd like I can have a look for you.

    *edit*
Seems to have been released as part of a holiday 2005 bundle around Thanksgiving here in the states. Not sure if it was seen elsewhere as well.

Any idea what the bundle looked like mate? Was it just the game or bundled with a console?

Yes it was bundled with a console. Nothing special though. Just a standard system in a box with a sticker on it if I remember correctly.

That's it in the link that pit56 posted. Nice pile of boxed consoles too.
