    **SOLD** **SOLD** **SOLD** **SOLD**

I have for sale a rare copy of the Yellow Zelda Test Cartridge.

Judging from the information that was I was able to find, only about one of these a year show up on eBay.

There is a tiny bit of lifting on the bottom leftside of the front label, a tiny nick on the top of the front label and the back label has some slight lifting as well. The cart itself is really good shape except for a slight scratches.

Anyways, regarding the price Im looking for $850 plus shipping and due to its value I would require that there be a tracking number, insurance and a signiture, it just keeps things a lot simpler for both me and the buyer.

Shipping would be about $37 USD or $25 CDN.

If your interested please PM me.

I think you still need to list a price.

Is there a way you can confirm authenticity of this? I can easily make a real looking gold NWC just by switching labels and guts.

Im not 100% sure how to go about authenticating it but the fact thats its the only orange NES cart out there, to me it wouldnt make sense for anyone to remove the label only to replace it with only the exact same label because its the only one that belongs on an orange NES cart. As for the guts, the game is exactly the same as the grey or gold cart version, so replacing that would also seem pointless to me.

I'll be honest though, I dont know how to go about authenticating any NES cart and if anyone knows of a way for me to do so then it would be cool to learn how.

My apologies I keep calling it orange when its officially called yellow. I must be color blind because I have shown it to five people and asked them what color it is and they all say yellow, so apparently Im the oly person that thinks it looks orange :p

You've kept it rather well! When you say the guts is the same, does that mean everything in game is the same? Like no test label on the title screen etc?
However you do need a set price or your post will be removed by one of the mods.

Thanks, ya I really try to take of my games.

One thing I wanted to mention regarding the earlier comment about authenticating it is that after comparing it to both the grey cart and the gold cart I noticed that they all have different front labels.

Anyways, regarding the price Ive edited my original post to now show an asking price.

For more information on the cart itself Im just going to post a link below that goes into the history of the cart and what infact makes it different from the other Zelda carts.

Nice find. If only I had the money...

It is a little yellow/orange. I can see why you might consider it orange.

If you can believe it I bought it from a guy in a town that has the population of small village in Africa lol. You know the funny thing is though, most of my greatest finds have been in small towns. Just the other day I picked up two working Vectrex systems for under $100 total and one of them was in box. It was totally insane luck, I almost didnt even see them, it was a last minute buy. Just seems so wierd that when I lived in Vancouver where there are millions of people and I almost never found anything rare, then I moved to this little place out in nowheres land and have been finding amazing things ever since.

The only 100% sure fire way is by looking at the back label. The Zelda Test Cart is the only NES game that has a gold back label WITHOUT an embossed letter or number.

This one is the real deal for sure.

Maybe this was used for testing the save function? An NES that was somehow sending a little too much, or too little power to the cart could result in a corrupt save. I think, sort of out of my league.

I'd want it because it kinda looks like a FDS disk!
