Hey, I can see my house... That is pretty interesting, although it seems to be a bit of smoke and mirrors. Now if you could upload a stock photo and zoom like that, THEN I'd be wetting my pants in excitement at the undiscovered practical uses for such a program.
lol that's Delft, a city not far from here where quite a lot of my mates went to study (it's more like a University with a city than a city with a university :smt043 ) I believe they made a 5 gigapixel picture with 600 linked cameras, and that's why you can zoom in that far.
No. No you can't. Had seen it before, but the zoom factor is incredible. I look forward to home cameras being that resolution :-D
Yeah, that's amazing. You can even read the car plates and stuff like that. It's something like acessing a town using a huge zoom lens... PD
I think that if you look well, you can see some artifacts due to the delay, such as a car being parked inside a bus, and a pedestrian without body (just the head) :smt042
It doesn't work at all for me. All I get is a load of fuzzy crap when I zoom. Then a few clear images apear but they are all zoomed out. Yakumo *EDIT* Never mind, it's working now. It is actually very good. :smt023
Old technique, been around for years, they used it for the online "Virtual Tate Gallery" exhibits years ago.
