Yes but he is American. Americans don't call them cassettes. If i'm not mistaken I think cassette is a French word, right?
Your right, but it refert usualy to magnetic tape like VHS or Audio Tape. I think the right word is "cartouche".
IIRC Konami (over in japan) refer to them like that. I don't think it makes you stupid http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cassette Cassette may refer to: In general, a small cartridge.[1] It may refer specifically to: Compact Cassette, a worldwide standard for analog audio recording and playback, also known as audio cassette, cassette tape, or tape Digital Audio Tape (or DAT), a digital audio cassette tape format, mainly used by professionals Digital Compact Cassette (or DCC), a short-lived digital audio cassette format aimed at domestic users Videocassette, a cassette containing videotape, for use in VCRs 1. ^ In practice, there is a large amount of overlap between the two terms, and the term chosen may be somewhat arbitrary.
Maybe hes in new york now, but originally from france?? I dunno, its not like it really matters if he called it a cartridge or cassette, either way is right ( I live in ohio and i call them cartridges, however a friend of mine, also from ohio, calls them cassettes, and has ever since he was a little kid.)
UPDATE!!! It turns out it was an armed robbery scam!!! Somebody took up his offer for $75 and was robbed at knifepoint.
Wow, what a douchebag. All that for 75 dollars?? the only thing worse than a scam artist is a dumb scam artist. Arkanoid, do you know if the guy was at least caught?
Howd you find out also. Did the guy that got ripped message you cuz you warned him or something? Just curious. Hope he's caught..
No he was cought within 10 minutes since there was a cop in the area reporting to a domestic disturbance. I found out through my mom. She works out at Suffolk Police headquarters in Yaphank, Long Island. I asked her if she could watch for anything involving robbery by gunpoint, knifepoint, ect...
