    The SMS and MD withouth cart slot haven't got the points on the board for soldering it?

    Didn't knew that. Anyway, i remember seeing those models with cart slots last year.

    Only noticed this after i read your comment. Even flatened, there's probably room a cartridge slot there. Tectoy nowadays are a bunch of cheap bastards.

    If it's the one Ive seen it's a 'pre-order', plus its double RRP :rolleyes:

    I'd hold out to get one a cheaper way. ebay isnt good for cheap (or fairly priced) Tec Toy items.

    I don't know if they even bothered to redesign/improve it since then, but since they removed the cart slot it's possible.

    I can post the insides of the 2006, 2007 and 2008 models to see if their are any changes.. I am expecting one tiny chip in the middle, a couple of wires and a lead weight.

    I thought these were all going to be the same, the last 2 look the same but the 2006 model looks like you could mod a cart slot back onto it?
