You should be able to flash the one for the Standard version in your FX; however you're likely to loose functionality. Also, in that same link I provided there's a tutorial for flashing Caetla into Xplorer (I believe it works for all of them).
FInally, there's the X-Flash which supposedly repairs Xplorer cartridges.

I didn't ignore you; X-flash is what I have been using to flash the ROMs, and is what I used to put Caetla on my standard Xplorer. And that site is the place that I searched first when looking for the correct ROM, before posting this thread.

Caetla does indeed work fine on this 256kb Xplorer FX, but I just wanted another working Xplorer FX cartridge with the nice extra features over the standard one, since my mother disposed of my last one... :crying:
