If they made it somewhat like Borderlands it might be good. Especially if they include the strategy and research.
I don;t know, why were there so many SHMUP's in the late 80's-early/mid 90's along with a billion RPG's and platformer games? All just what is the popular trend at the time. Things die off and resurface over time.
Probably, and so is Fallout, but both of them were RPGs as a start, not an FPS. But hey maybe they could do a Fallout 3 on it, and make it so, that you could research the UFO shit, while you were going out shooting the shit out of some aliens, and then put some humour into it, and presto now you have a DUKE 3D forever esque game. Just with some cooler weapons(because of research), but hey some times people prefer the classics , other times they start with the newest.
Ah this is sounding like very bad news . Enemy unknown and Terror From The Deep are amazing, they're the only reason I've still got 95/98 compaq PC!
I never bothered with X-con until today actually, am I the only one? I mean I ve heard about it but never took interest to play it back in the day. This new game is also a meh to me.
Actually thats a better idea than the last 3 sonic games:lol: Jokes aside, F3 is a more-FPS-than-RPG sequel to an almost pure RPG, and not only did good but its one of the greatest games ever and put the franchise back in the map. Thats way better than lingering in the past, of course unless this results in another case of franchise prostitution like you-know-which-one
The game looks cool, I just they hadn't raped the name. Or call it X-COM : other story or something....
They may be able to do the universe justice disregarding the genre - see Fallout 3. But do they have as much talent as Bethesda? Is this the studio that made Bioshock or Bioshock 2?
