Well They're meant to be chargeabloe via usb i believe, so that's one explanation - also on a devkit there's no need for wireless controllers, just consumes unnecessary power.

Well it looks like you can unclip something from the bottom but i dint know that you would charge it via usb and not just remove the battery to charge it.

I hope there is indeed an option for wired controllers.
Never was a fan of the wireless models as it was.

I'd prefer a wired controller. I never liked having to recharge or replace batteries on the wireless controllers.

    Precisely my reason.
They just work...no chance of it running out of juice in the middle of a game.

I've noticed they have a tendency to slowly die, rather than just quit (I wish they *would* do the latter). On top of that, my Logitech wireless controller for my Xbox is unreliable. Somehow Halo always gets the impression that I'm holding down the right trigger. The things are just too wonky for me.

  10. Beautiful, I hope they stay wired.

    HEAR THAT, NINTENDO?? WIRED!!

What i want is to get my hands on that controler! Wired... damn that would be a nice controler for my pc...

Anyways wasmt MS showing off their pc compatible controler?

By the way teamos MS have developed a new protocol for the controlers. So its nothing thats out there right now. Its totaly new. This was because of issues they had with the current stuff.

    That's a little reassuring, I guess.

The Xbox 360 will ship with a wireless controller.

Wired controllers will be an option. You'll plug them in to the USB ports on the front of the 360.
