I got all the 3D sega games already a half year ago.

mainly like the sega super scaler arcade suff really -> 3D galaxy force II, 3D space harrier & 3D super hang on. great stuff to be played in real 3D.

hope there comes more. still so many stuff to go, sega.

I never saw any of the 3d ports :-(
This article says they created an "virtual genesis", retro compatible but with expanded features for 3d.
I hope it works well and we see more and more games ported to 3d.

Does Brazil have the same region as the US? If so they're hitting our eShop this month sometime.

They could have saved themselves a world of ball ache and used Christians engine as a starting point.

Good to see the two Sega territories working together as usual ;-)

They could, but the way they did is someway better, since they can reuse the emulator for other games.
    JP., I don't have a 3ds yet. I might buy it on a friend's 3ds to play.

I would mind seeing Rent-A-Hero 3D on the eShop as a Sega retro vintage but as a import only title! :)

Yeah they literally came out in the US (and maybe Europe) last week. How it took Sega almost a year to translate the games is beyond me. That said, Space Harrier 3D is pretty sweet, definitely worth my $6.

I'd love to see some more classic Genesis/MD games ported to the 3DS, even just in the VC (would someone please tell Nintendo that the 3DS can run 16 bit system games, please?)

All three 3D arcade titles are pretty very sweet ;)

but my personal fav is galaxy force II (best music and superb 3D action for '88). as for speed it would be super hang on..nothing feels faster than with 328km/h up-/downhill and curves..and in 3D...and space harrier sure is the most classic of all the three. great ports.

now sega get us outrun, turbo outrun, outrunners, power drift, after burner, A.B. cop air bike, thunder balde, hang on etc. etc.

I've been waiting a long time for them to finally release the 3D Super Scaler games in the West, and Space Harrier didn't disappoint. Don't see the point in 3D Sonic 1 (just like I don't see the point in 3D Kirby's Adventure), since the original game wasn't 3D in any way.

Yeah, I think it was just catering to the "SEGA=Sonic" crowd.

Why couldn't they have canned altered breast instead of thunder blade?

outside the x68k posse, there was not one single port that would justify the game.
3DS could have been that long seeking port. But no, instead we get MD turds like altered breast.

Because officially SEGA is just acting lazy, Hell it's even been proved that Mega Drive/Genesis emulation was possible with "Sonic Classic Collection" 4in1 on the original DS so what are they even talking about?!
