Hmmm... this thread seems to have 9 lives ;-) I think that I will go ahead and make this a Christmas release for the fans, and if people would like to make donations maybe they can pass whatever they feel up to over to Assembler/AssemblerForum as a site donation (if this is ok with him). This way no one is obligated to spend any money if they don't wish to, and if they do it benifits the forum. Please keep in mind: As far as I can remember there was not much data on the disks (floppy/CD). There were image files on the CD but I don't remember how many and what they were of. I will try to put everything together in the next couple of weeks and I'll update this thread with a link to the downloads section when I get the files uploaded.
Look like this forum post pointed out by gdri explains some of the development troubles of this version of the game http://3do.cdinteractive.co.uk/viewtopic.php?p=18550#18550
Yeah, that's my post over at the 3DO zero forums. I'm going to be including a bunch of docs/memo's in the release and that is one of the more heated memo's in the collection.
i love christmas time! nice find and very interesting what problems they had. unfortunately those problems are in every project.
Did you get this from 3DOman? I know he had the source code as well. If not check with him. Might be interesting to see them compared.
The source will be up tonight. Nope. I got this from another person, so it would indeed be interesting to see the differences.
