http://www.joystiq.com/2006/10/02/the-king-is-in-your-xbox-360/ why aren't these just XBLA downloads?
The quality of the games shows the true value of game development today Next thing u know they ll start packaging games for 360 in cereals
You know, its somewhat funny. Burger King can make a 3D game for the 360 and only sell it for $4, yet publishers are pushing shitty quality ports of Xbox and PS2 games for $60 on the 360...
ding ding ding BK is taking a $5 a disc loss on the COGS alone. Nevermind development costs. It's just a massive marketing push for them.
I know Burger King has deep pockets, but it seems like a costly thing to do just for a advertising venture. You would think they would charge more if they wanted to make a profit ($10 or so). I mean, you would have to look at the development, publishing, advertisement, and disc costs compared to the food sold when they do buy a copy of the game.
i sure miss the whopper. Damn, it's been years since i last had one. And now it comes with a game. the temptation..
