5-blade Razor... Its for real guys...

I have a 3 blade razor that works pretty well. Using a Razor gets rid of more hair than an electric one, IMO. Just dont use shaving cream and an electric razor at the same time!

to be honest.. I hate blades - I have tried a few and they all give me horrible razorburns

 

If I have a pimple or something, sometimes I forget and cut it off with the razor blade. It doesnt really hurt, but it wont stop bleeding for a long time. BTW, you are supposed to use water and shaving cream with razors.
That'll keep the razorburns from happening I think.

 

mh I know.. but my skin is an asshole... if not right after the shaving, I get red dots, sometimes pimples etc. the next day.
And by now I think I saved some money using my e-shavers instead of buying blades.

 

Wash your face before shaving and use after shave afterwards, no more pimples. Used to happen to me.

 

Alternatively shave the areas that get pimpled up in the other direction (ie go from with the grain to against the grain or vice versa). Voila, no pimples.

 

I just use disposable Bics :smt082

Way cheaper and just as good a finish as all this fancy multi-blade rubbish. Just so long as you don't slip

I use the 2 blade Gilette Sensor Excel.
I tried the 3 and 4 blade razors, but either my skin is too sensitive or I'm pressing down too hard, because it's a painful experience for me.

 

You're probably pressing down too hard, with my quatro I don't need to press down much at all it just takes the hair right off.

 

i have acne scars below the nose area. It's painfull when you cut in that area, And it just plain sucks, Especially When you don't have acne anymore. It reminds you how bad it was. Damn, i wish there was something to make that disapear.

I used the Sensor Excel for a long time and switched to the Mach 3 and was very happy with the results. I recieved a free pack of Mach 3 Turbo blades and tried them and never got past the second one - for some reason it felt WAY too sharp and left my skin stinging for hours. So at the standard Mach 3 I stay.

I actually recieved my Mach3 for free in the mail like a few months after i turned 18 lol. Came with 2 extra blades. Thats how I ended up with mine.

 

Elcetric Razors a waste of time....none of them get a close as a blade and B@@@@@X to all the adds that say otherwise

I still use a 2 blade one in the morning and if I go out in the evening a 2nd shave is occasionally required. £1.99 for a pack of about 10 does the trick for a good few weeks. Why pay £4 for 2 of the 3 bladed refils that would probably last a week!

Admittidly have never tried 3 or 4 let alone 5 blades but why should I bother when 2 does the job sufficiently.

I suppose in the same way X-Box does almost the same as 360 so why bother!!!
