What worries me a bit is that the uneducated layers of society are rapidly outgrowing the elite. At least in China education is (more or less) valued, but other countries like Africa are still stuck in the stone-age when it comes to that. Ubuntu doesn't help either.

 

Many Africans (in fact, perhaps even most) do value education. I wouldn't make such a generalisation... just because they may not have access to it does not mean it's not valued.

I meant this... Just start spaying people after they have the first child. You will find that usually, people with not much access to education and a good job are having more children than the more educated "elite"... This poses an economic problem, since the least productive layers of society are generating more children than the upper layers (I don't mean in terms of money, but in terms of wealth production... It's hardly the same thing), thus perpetuating in most cases a poor work ethics and the habit of having more children than they can support.

That's what's happening in my country at least. People like me, who have a job and college studies tend to have 1 or 2 kids at most, while people who live off State wellfare tend to have 7 to 10 kids in order to collect more wellfare checks but don't go to school or have a productive job.

So yeah, keep your pants on or you'll be spayed! (JK! I think sexual education is the best way to go to prevent this issue)


Oh, and PS, Africa is not a country... It's a continent with some of the richest nations in the world (in terms of resources, albeit poor in terms of education and other social standards)
