I'm not going to, there is the posibility of a Management buyout, if that happens i want to be part of it, taking a dev kit would ensure that i'm not a part of it. I imagine alot of people will bring them back, they were just really pissed off with the way acclaim handled the situation. This has happened to me once before when i worked for infogrames. But most of the people there this is the third or forth time, they were told that nothing was wrong, so they were buying houses and then they find they don't have a job or money. There frustrated by the lack of information from the upper management and thought this was the way to show them. Among my other duties i did do some IT work, and was constantly telling people to leave the dev kits, but i know at least 5 went missing out of one room alone. Hell even the iguana sign in reception got nicked. And that was screwed to the wall. :smt042
Funny you should say that... I missed the opportunity to do some research with lots of companies when the Infogrames thing happened. I wanted to make sure I wasn't too late again, and then suddenly they go!
When the infogrames thing happened, i had found a full sega saturn dev kit complete with manuals and software, i put it to the side and hid it in the store. But the snooping bastards that are IT found it and took it themselves. I was not happy that day.
just like in a bad dream! You find a big treasure that is really interesting and you're really happy , but you can't take it with you now. so you hide it the best as you can and when you return where you've found the treasure , inothing is here.... SO FRUSTRATING! you finally wake up, but you're still angry. :smt043 the difference between your story and a dream is that it was real for you. :-( :smt067
While they didn't make the best games over the last few years the way their are treating their staff is just plain horrible. Is there no way for the personell to sue the shit out of them for compensation or something like that ?
just like snes's star fox 2 beta, its not because its on the web that the real one isn't a cool stuff to add in a collection. its not because i have star fox 2 beta on my hdd that i don't care if someone sell the real beta.
Yes it is. Hpwever it does have a serious online bug in it, i know as i had access to the sony and Microsoft failure reports. Privlige of the Job. :-D This bug and others have been fixed in the version i have and the handling has been improved and tweeked beyond that of the leaked version. Still it looks like juiced will be released, as it turns out that Acclaim (wankers) did not own the rights to the IP the developer did. So they are well within there rights to seek another publisher. I would not be supprised if EA or another big publisher picks it up.
Yep retro, i found some iteresting things, such as the 2 katana HTK-01 development kits i have and a GD Writer. Then there is my Prodg Gameboy Advance development Kit. Some stuff in the office that i found was not worth the risk at the moment because the words police and prosicution were mentioned. I found some other stuff that i'm going to try and sell here, but i have to decide what i want to keep and then how much the other stuff is worth. E.g. I have a few Jap dreamcast games but until i findout what games there are i don't know how much to ask for them. Then i have this peice of what i assume is sega saturn hardware but i'm not sure what it is exactly. I still have access to the building and i'm trying to get the MIS manager to let me have a complete Playstation development kit, you know the 2 ISA boards and stuff. Have to wait and see.
That really sucks. The way the company has treated its employees makes me remember what happened here with the most important and well-known group of English academies. It was assumed everything was ok, but some analyst said that the group maybe was near bankruptcy. All of a sudden one day, all academies of the group were closed, a lot of teachers and other employees lost their jobs and hundreds of students without classes when they had already paid the whole course.
