I believe ASSEMbler is ill again, but I don´t know. But it would maybe be the reason why, he hasn´t answered.
We had suspected as much and to reduce the amount of work Kev is expected to put in, we have for the time being pulled this thread / project. With luck it will be back some time shortly.
Just a Quick Update really Have heard from Kev and he has given the go-ahead for a a fundraiser for the Titles Athough at the moment i do not have the time to progress with this any further, i will try to organise something soon, but as there is still a fundraiser currently in progress for the SNES title from Simon Belmont i shall wait until after that has finished before i devote more time to this On the plus side of things i now have managed to get some of the games running on a normal (modded) xbox so at least more people can actually try the games out rather than having to own a debug console In the mean time, i do value peoples input and suggestions on releasing the games so feel free to comment in here or PM me directly DD
Just curious, if you do release them, will you also release the original, non-modified versions? (For those that have debug units...) Just wondering...
Absolutely! *if* we ever do do a release there will be several versions of the .xbe files bundled in for debug / non-debug use DD
We have a couple of options open to us and we intend to release two more titles completely free-of-charge. All going well, we should have the titles sorted pretty soon. Until I've had confirmation from the person we have asked to host the material then I don't think it wise to say anything else. Didds and I have had a long discussion in relation to feedback, several threads and messages we've received about releasing material. This is by far the best compromise & workable solution we could find. We hoped it might also lessen the attitude that perhaps financial gain was at the heart of releasing material. It's our opinion that the remaining material is strong enough & of substantial interest to the Xbox community and therefore once the next FREE releases are out of the way, we shall seek advice (and note any changes in rules) in relation to placing a fund raiser for the remaining material. We welcome any continued feedback and/or comment be they negative or positive. Can I just say however that none of this is happening for Kudos, personal gain or ball stroking - we fuc*ing love gaming and really couldn't sit on this like we were some damned museum. Thanks!
Sounds really interesting Parris, a fund raiser for the left over material sounds great, i'll be sure to try and make a donation or so when it happens. Looking forward to seeing what the potential free-release has for us all.
I will be announcing one of the releases later tonight, once hosting etc has been arranged Suffice to say it is a lot more playable than the Turok Release, a near complete and fully playable, previously unreleased game, and (hopefully) should put peoples minds at rest that we are not doing this 'for the money' (although i wouldnt say no to the ball stroking) DD
This does indeed sound exciting Really looking forward to getting whatever it is your going to share with the community. It would be excellent to evetually get a release of all the material you have, hopefully some sort of fund raiser or simillar will be setup in the future. Nice one guys.
ATV3 Page with video. Download link is on the side http://www.ptop.aborman.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=197&Itemid=1
Cheers Borman and Diddy....well appreciated! Just one question...will ATV3 work on my modded xbox or not? Seems to mention dev only at the dload link. Eitherway, thanks all the same
Excellent, thank you guys  I had a funny feeling this would probably be the game you released. I'm looking forward to trying this out
Don't know if the game is patched or not but it plays just fine on my modded xbox. Thanks for the game:thumbsup:
Okay, the next release will be equally exciting. Although a version of Acclaim's "Juiced" was released previously it was a preview title. I'm not sure how complete the preview title was, but I have ended up with a Debug version and will pass this onto Andy for release asap! I do not have a list of the debug commands so I would like others to try and find them, however I do know that you can pause the games title and position a camera anywhere (a bit like during playback on PGR4, but with infinite camera positioning). This appears to be in order to allow press and perhaps Acclaim to produce exciting, static shots. If you unpause the game, you lose control of your vehicle, but you can still track everything else with the camera, so allowing snaps shots of action etc. The third level of the command returns you to the vehicle again and resumes from where you left off. Seems like a press version imho. Please give us a bit of time to sort this one out as I am up to my neck in stuff right now. I shall also post screenshots later. ;-)
Yeah this does indeed sound exciting Parris  It will be nice to have a play around with that, hopefully some good debug commands can be found, that would deffinatly be interesting ;-)
Just for those that didn't know, EM will actually see a release on the wii, a reliable source of mine had just told me this: 'Emergency Mayhem is what im working on at codemasters its being released for wii tba!' I wonder how different it will be to the build these guys have.
Yeah, we are aware of the Codemasters version. No idea how similar it will be, however it was interesting to note that after all this time it is seeing release as it's a great title.
dd and Parris: Please release all you can get off the harddrives from the dev boxes since it would be so smashing great and awesome if we saw some serious cool stuff coming, in the future.
Here are some images to keep you going until it's released. Images prove it exists, it is a debug and has at least 1 debug command. Hope you find others and report back to base ;-)
