    Hi,

I recently got my first development hardware and it is a IS-NITRO-EMULATOR (without the WIFI option).

I dont have any development cartridges, so I can't start any game on the device. What I want is WIFI!

I disassembled the whole device (about 7 PCBs inside stacked) and found the main nintendo ds parts. It looks like there is a full computer AND a nintendo ds inside. I can see both processors and rams and so on.

There is a (disconnectable) wifi card where only the small metal wifi module from the normal nintendo ds is missing.

I soldered an LED to the communication pins and I can see the device is trying to talk to the wifi module when starting the chat or Download mode (the LED is flashing).

Can I just unsolder the wifi module from another working nintendo ds and insert it into the IS-NITRO-EMULATOR? Has anyone done it yet?

If anything is unclear or you want any pictures, just ask me and I try to clarify.

I don't think anyone has tried yet. Curious to see if it works
