I agree with most your points, including the one about action figures. I never played with toy cars either.

and yes, new LEGO is arse compared to what we got back in the day.

LEGO before 1991 had a more minimal and generic look, I quite like that simplicity. I had most of my LEGO from the 91-99 era myself (i ve got some 80s too) and my shrink-wrapped airport is something of a trophy for me :icon_bigg (the third airport, the best one really).

Nowadays LEGO reminds me more of Playmobile (which I also had a ton!). There's too many ready/specific parts nowadays, kind of takes the whole point out of making something out of LEGO.

OK, well, I don't even count that as the same series as TAS anymore. Sure, Scarecrow's design was much better, but as a whole the animation style got a lot worse, plus the writing had some retarded stuff like Clayface becoming alive again.

As good as Heath Ledger was in Dark Knight, I still think Mark Hamill is the best Joker.

Yeah Who the fuck is Luke Skywalker? The Joker is Mark Hamill's finest hour.

The thing is I think you could slap the make up on Luke and he'd be just fine as the Joker for live action.
