Would like to know from you if you think the 4.2 that this game got from IGn is equal. Personally, i dont think so. I believe they didnt take the time to analyze the game enough (for reasons that i may not know and that i do not want to know at all). The game is absolutely intresting, deep, involving. Of course, its got a complicated battle system, which the manual doesnt even introduce you to it, but with just a "bit" of practice you can get yourself ahold of it, and, i must admit, its enjoyable, and even very intriguing, making battling much more playable. Obviously not as much as Zelda:OOT or Zelda:MM, but what the heck. As for the world, it may look empty at first, but believe me, its scaled to the likes of a _real_ world in a small console. For the first time when i Travelled to Emorron, i felt much more like Rijoga of Ranma 1/2 - clueless. But its the exploring that makes it intresting, and the story evolves just with the right pace. Any more comments?
You know, as delayed as the game was, I still had fun with it. Graphically it wasn't much to look at it, but the huge world aspect and mechanics that they managed to cram into the cart was pretty impressive to me.
i agree with that, that world was really huge, but i can also understand why ign rated it as bad as that, because first it was delayed...hard! and second maybe it was too big so it got boring after a while, not for me though
maybe because they get frustrated because they had to wait so long for it and if it doesn't fit the expectations than...
Who knows. I mean, by the time Aidyn did finally make it out on store shelves, we were only a few months away from the Xbox and GC launches so perhaps the desire to slog through a lengthy N64 game just wasn't there for the reviewers.
i remember reading it in a nintendo power, and for 3 years i hunted down that game (i didnt feel like spending the 70cdn for it) and finally found it....for me, the huge world is enough, the battles get boring, music is kinda krappy...control isnt the greatest, but it was my first experience with an rpg..and i had fun with it, and still do have fun with it....its not a 9 or 10, i think i would rate it a 8/10
I actually bought the game w/ its box for 5 bucks at EBgames (gasp) a few weeks ago, havent really played it though.
lucky...we would make trips to the states every few months..and i almost bought it down there for 60usd at the time....waited 2 years and i found it packed with those el-cheapo memory cards for 30...its hard to find anything but current gen games around here.....all the local shops have devoted all their shelf space to crappy used ps2 games...........anyone used a gameshark with this game yet?.....
PAL for me sorry :/, so no need for gameshark - passport at all. Besides i prefer to hack into the games from the source as from the gameshark
i bought a gameshark 5.3? for the 64 awhile ago...on clearence...locks up n64 after awhile though......i only used it once...then shoved back in its box which convientently sliced my hand while opening it....
Their reviews are better and not QUITE as bad as Gamespots reviews. Gamespot are like a bunch of video game Nazis. They removed my review of GTA: San Andreas because I gave it a poor score, and they threatened to ban me over it.
