I have a shitload of time too, but I know that apart from a few items on the list, that there was more chance of buying a cute japanese girl with big boobs in a Mai outfit who spoke perfect english for Y500 then there was of finding some of the stuff on that list (Tetris on the MD or N64 Dev stuff) and let's be honest it's not worth the hassle of dealing with some of the stuff that you could get on the list, PS3 hate to think what hassle there would be if that arrives broken...

 

Didn't find Tetris MD, but I did find a store that was interested in paying me Y250,000 to buy one from me.

 

Well, Phinn is a lot closer to Akiba than either of us. As he's newer, he was probably planning on being there anyway. Why not make a few bucks. But yeah, a few things weren't even adding to the list. Dev stuff, demos, and for a large part posters and whatnot are basically impossible to find.

 

Still don't envy him trying to buy Dualshock 3 pads (which are very nice) when a few shops had a only one per customer policy. :lol:

 

I think it was part of their special gaijin policy. I'm going to try buying 3 or 4 at a time from different stores.

The prices shops are willing to pay are ridicoulous most of all times. If you enter Trader 2, you'll see "WOW"-offers like "1500 for Smash Bros 64" or "8000 for Rendering Ranger".

I wonder if that works at times.

 

What's cheap then? There is one and it has 7 titles and is just a smidge under 60,000yen...

 

Well, I meant the Randnet bundle without games (just the randnet disk). Willing to pay $250-ish.

 

Isn't likely to happen, normally the units get bundled with games and I've not seen many 64DD units in the wild this year. Two I think...

 

It might be that the chance isn't big, but I just said if Phinn would come across a cheap one, I'd be intrested. =)
