    Another question that I haven't seen answered... Does this support all VGA modes supported by the Dreamcast, or just the two most commonly used by games? (480p and 320p) Wondering specifically if it will work with the native 740x416 widescreen mode in Pier Solar HD. My primary TV doesn't support it, but some older displays apparently handle it fine.

    Hello im also interested. How do you get 16:9 mode without distortion? With my 50 inch 4k TV I get 4:3 with VGA cable and hdmi converter. Is it because of your TV or the akura box?

    It's auto mode (resolution) detection and auto position adjustment features. Automatically identifies the display EDID by DDC channel and adapts itself to the display.
    Both displays I tested don't allow manual setup for it.

    Check out the widescreen hacks thread, you can get many games into a 16:9 aspect ratio.

    OH ! Forgot ta mention

    beharius , have you tried the 240p games ? I actually made them display and properly on my Toro .. I did the switch trick but in reverse .. VGA>RGB .. but viewing from the VGA .. played perfect it made my monitor do the 720x240 switch

    Same works with Akura too. Probably you have the first version of Toro which had wrong VGA/RGB label, it should be opposite.

    I'm using a OSSC with my Dreamcast, I'm really curious to see how Akura compares. If the price is right, I'm in for one just to test it out. :)
