Hi Lemmy welcome aboard. If you have a coupla mins, pop over to the Off Topic section and post in "Introduce Yourself !" - just follow everyone else's lead. ;-)

    Enjoy your stay!

Oh, and if you plan to buy/sell on here, I usually suggest updating your profile info to state your location... it helps everyone involved, then. :smt023

I just bought it and did not have a chance to receive it yet but the guy has a 100% positive rating and he happens to live a couple of streets away from my house. I do not know the guy but if he is not legit I can drop by and kick his a**.

it's good to know that you can pay personal(?) visit to the seller. :D

  8. Oh, ok, thanks.

Ha ha, always a plus I suppose. Although even if he did turn out to be a theif (which I doubt, seeing he's feedback), I doubt the system would be at his house. He most likely has some drop shipping deal going on.

My guess it that they either "fell" off the back of a truck or they were recovered from a pallet damaged in transport that insurance paid for.

That's what it looks like to me. If you look at his feedback all the other thinks he's sold looks legit. Most people who do these dutch auctions only deal with dutch auctions and not the things he's sold in the past.

You have a poor idea of how paypal works if you think that. Let's say you don't get your package and file a complaint. First off, a scammer only needs to send you a package and give paypal the tracking number. This package can have a paperclip, hambuger, or masturbation sock in it...paypal doesnt care. All they know is that he sent you a package, so now you are the one lying in their eyes. You can only file one complaint per transaction, so it's done after that. Sorry if you think otherwise, but that's how it works.

here's even an email they sent me, since I went through this crap..twice.

Paypal doesn't care about you..they protect sellers better than buyers. I'd beware of this auction since I've been burned trying to get great deals myself.
