It was close, if the last kick-in from the NZ player was successfull, the score would have been 21-20 instead.
    Tomorrow, Argentina-Scotland!

Yeah and I am NOT looking forward to it. This hasn't be a particularly colourful period of Scottish play. We really need Scotland to dig in, make fewer stupid mistakes and STOP with all the penalties!

    Yes rugby!

I think it's going to be an England V France final, but I am really wanting it to be Scotland V France.

Let's see what 19:45pm tomorrow night holds.

Quite possibly one of the most exciting rugby matches I have watched for quite some time. New Zealand All Blacks are a fantastic side and rarely make the kind of mistakes that peppered their play tonight.

    Unbelievable! Seriously, well done France!

What about England 12-10 Australia? Much more important match. Considering the drubbing that South Africa inflicted.

Although I'll still be cheering on the scots, I am sure they will trash those argies. And I hope Fiji beat South Africa so Wales can look better.

But, did you see HOW Scotland were playing? The narrowest of margins!

With Scotland it is sometimes almost better to close your eyes and pray!

I personally thought England would get through - it was also far less impressive than beating New Zealand. Beating NZL is like winning at the Pools AND getting the girl!

Not sure if you saw France playing against New Zealand, but it was the best game I've seen in a LONG time.

I felt sorry for Wales the other day as frankly, although they were beaten it was a stunning game also.

Damn, I wish we got Rugby shown over here. Come on England!

I can't say I like the French team. It's a sad day for New Zealand.

Well Scotland just got knocked out in a rather frustrating game. Argentina certainly deserved to win, but a few odd penalty decisions going against Scotland (plus too many genuine unforced errors!).

Please explain to me why Scotland got a "knock forward" penalty in the first half, when it was clearly a legitimate "chip"? We also held onto the ball too long in the last dying moments of the game. With only 6 points between the teams we could have easily managed a try going up through the middle, but they played it far too wide. :banghead:

    Blinding kicking from Argentina!

So, that's us out for another 4 years until the next World Cup.

    Well done Argentina

The wife is supporting England (being English & from London) and I'm still with France (being part French).

Easy Tiger, otherwise you could find yourself with one less French supporter and I'll be joining my English wife in cheering on England lol

They could have won in the last 5 minutes, sometimes it's just luck, or fate...
Did you see South Africa - Fiji?

Yeah, now that was another nail biting game! I thought that Fiji had them pinned down. Sadly, no!

    Wow! France out?!

Good game, although I thought the refs decision regarding the last penalty was nonsense.

So England are in the final.

Well, maybe, but even without the last english drop, the score was 11-9 for England.
And the french didn't score a try of the all match, the english defence was good.

    Actually I wasn't, I'm a traitor!
But hey, I like how quiet the outside is right now.
