This. Sent him a question about it. Also, the video says "Collectors price $750" but it starts at over double that price. -_-
I find it strange though that he didn't show off the juicy bits, you know, the whole working thing. I sent an offer of 500 which was declined immediately, but I really only want the case, so working or not didn't bother me.
I realy like the case to. But it costs so many... Cant we make a dummy? replicate it somehow? I find it hard to find a good candidate silver case. Anyway, Nice kit, hope more info on this case can be get before someone wins it. The bootlogo, is that Bios or OS loaded ?
Yeah, I threw him a question about it, which you can see at the bottom of the auction page. I wonder if you can put the dashboard on the hard drive though? Or if it even has a hard drive. >_>
It depends on if it has been screwed with. If any of the hardware has been changed, or any of the firmware and bios has been modified, its going to take a ton of work to get it back to 'XDK' status, that's if you can even do it. Most of these machines were either sent back to Microsoft, or modified to run Windows, which most of those that remain in the wild were used for.
Can anyone tell me what the board maker was like who made the board and maybe if someone has a dump of the bios?
