    UMDs can actually carry up to 1.8GB of data. there are currently about 5 or 6 games that cannot fit on a 1GB stick.

    BTW, i've tried the loader and it does work. team xecuter has also released today an update to the loader that doesn't require a UMD to be in the drive when launching the game. the main reason i want loaders is for faster loading speeds and saving the battery since the laser and motor use up quite a lot of juice.

    True, but I can dislike it in part for it. Kind of like someone saying they don't like peanuts because they give them anaphylactic shock and they die.

    Which, knowing Sony's product quality lately, could be right about.... now!

    Funny you say that, I was trying different disk/loader combo's, and my drive sounds well "clunky" with certain disks.
