    I wonder why not have 1 cart for both systems (PAL and NTSC) ? Is it the CIC chip?!

    Yes, the PCB is the same but the CIC installed is different.

    Which class of SD card you tested? I see class 4 which should be limited to 4MB/s?

    So to have full 9MB/s speed we need a class 10 right?

    My class 6 microSD clocks in with 512mbit loaded in 8 seconds. I wouldn't worry about it being not fast enough.

    Amazing to see how this project progressed! Ordered! The attention to detail in this project was what sold me over the other option. marshallh's love for the N64 really shows, and I feel very good about spending my money on something that is backed by somebody who obviously knows the ins-and-outs of the N64. Well done!!!

    Also, you'd have to remove some plastic tabs inside your N64s cause the cart shell is slightly different US Vs. Euro/Japanese

    Same here. It's a shame marshallh doesn't love other systems as much as there are a few other older systems crying out for CF/SD loading solutions.

    That's fine. Is it possible for the cart to auto patch the games so we can play games from other regions! I think I used to have a utility to do it offline in the old days...
