Morgan Webb stopped being hot when she and Adam started doing more of those stupid, shitty skits and spammed their lame jokes ad nauseam on X-Play. In fact, she should have just stayed on Call for Help where she belonged. (Too bad she can never go back..) Adam was more informative alone, but with her around, the show's producers needed to find ways to fit her in. G4 won't lose her because it totally needs the HAWT FEMALE VAGINA GAMER to attract the majority of its viewers. (What? Do you think they're actually watching COPS and Star Trek?) I've nothing wrong with women and gaming, but damn if G4 isn't going to exploit it in this case..

 

The random section has gone to hell in a hand basket anyway. You make a post, and its on the 2nd or 3rd page, and a total of 0-2 people will even SEE it before its pruned.

Also: I'm going to laugh my ass off when / if Morgan webb sees all the memes related to her giant man-chin.

 

G4 originally had nothing to do with...what it is now. it was strictly video games (like 2 or 3 shows looped through the day and informercials at night) and it competed with techt. they "merged", and g4 was given the techtv name and they phased it out. now they're just imitating spikeTV

 

Heh, I agree with you on all counts. :thumbsup: I remember seeing a section of a thread screencapped from late 2005 /b/ and replies were HOURS APART.

Yeah, I know. I went overboard, but I do recall hearing about this "all-videogames" channel four or five years ago in EGM. Anyhow, it's SICKENING that it really wasn't really competing with TechTV so much as it was competing with X-Play.

I used to enjoy G4. When they had g4tv.com the show, that was cool. And they had a news feed, which too was cool. They had electric playground which had somse shitty reviews though. And icons. and that show where they count down top 10's. I liked it. ANd I also liked TechTV.

I would watch one and when nothing was on switch it to the other.
