Karasu or as Milestone have written in English Karous which is probably meant to say Crows since that's what Karasu means. Anyway, this great shooter is on it's way to the Dreamcast on March 8th ! Segagaga Domain are doing the good deed again so feel free to drop by. Yakumo
Now that I think about it, if they release a couple games after this one (until fall 2008) the DC will be 10 years old and still kicking!
Fingers crossed ! I'm hoping for a conversion of the new Dynamite Deka but it will probably never happen. Yakumo
This is kinda scary. When I woke up this mornign I decided to wear my Dreamcast T-shirt to work today..and being that I work in a game store, it caused a fuss with the Sega fanboys. And now, another Dreamcast game.
Where did you find that box-art? It kind of looks like you made it. I've been unsuccessful in finding one.
Nuts. Sega needs to have someone bang it's balls, get back into shape and do a sequal to the dreamcast. Better yet make a handheld. Dreamcast will still always be my favorite system to date (including it's twin naomi and younger brother Atomiswave).
Yep, I made it in under 5 minutes as well  I was laughing at the piss poor effort Play Asia are using plus they watermarked it ! So I thought my site could do better  Not that hard really. All the art work is official Karasu stuff but personally I think that cover is pretty crude. Still, better than what Play Asia are using  Yakumo
Slightly off-topic, but what are they using to develop these games with? Old unsopported Katana devboxes or some homebrew solution?
I'm sure straight up Naomi kits. On-topic: The game is kind of lame. If you liked Radirgy, you'll kind of like this, but it's pretty much a turd. Of course, better than a lot of other shit out there these days, and yes, I'll buy the damn thing b/c it's a DC game, but still...
I'm so disapointed no naomi kits have shown up on the black market. I would buy one in a heart beat if it did.
Maybe their should be a sticky for all the new DC shooters coming out. At this rate, it would be bumped every few months.
the milstone website has a short video about the game: http://www.mile-stone.co.jp/product/krs/krs_system.html
Why exactly do these shooters keep coming out? I love me some Dreamcast but is it just very simple to port these type of scrolling shooters? I wish some other types of games would come out..
