Another unreleased Saturn game?

How can it be Sky Target when they are both different games? Or do you mean Afterburner 4 was a working title for Sky Target?

 

Initially, I was thinking of Wing Arms, but that's 'smoother' in graphics.
I definitely need to update my knowledge, As I only knew of After Burner 2 and Climax. So G-Loc was considered the third, yes?

The 3rd AfterBurner was called Strike Fighter in the Arcade which was later ported to the Mega-CD as ABIII...

 

I once read somewhere that Wing War was the only Model 1 game never to receive a home conversion, but isn't Wing Arms a sort of upgrade/sequel to the arcade original? Also, I seem to recall the working name for Sky Target being Son of Afterburner, or was that simply a magazine article title I've somehow confused over the years in my own head? Still, I wouldn't be surprised if Sky Target was called Afterburner IV at some point...
