    They're probably more like sweet PlayStation ISO embedded in to an emulator for play on the PC :)

    Well, as far as i know one of the PSX ports I'd played was Biohazard Gun Survivor and what they did was use the files of the game and have it extracted in a separate folder along side the game's .exe launcher
