I've been playing Mario Maker a lot lately and was wondering if anyone on here plays and would like to play each others courses. I've made some pretty hard ones that so far have a 0% passing rate. I was able to beat them obviously because they won't let you post a level until you beat it yourself lol.

Love that game. My wife and I made a few good levels that we've uploaded, including a ghost house with multiple secrets. We try and make our levels challenging while seeming like they can fit in the actual games themselves. That means no ridiculous rom hackish enemy stacks or don't push any buttons levels that the online portal seems to be flooded with. MachineCode86 is my username there. My wife's Mii is currently being used so instead of me it shows a Tiffany.

    I received my copy yesterday.
Tonight I will start playing it.
I'm more excited to play other people's levels than to create my own.

That'll wear off. There are a LOT of shitty levels out there. The highest starred makers have terrible levels. People seem to rank these awful don't touch anything and the level will make Mario do all sorts of crazy crap that looks impressive type levels the highest. It's cool to see the first few times but gets old real fast.

I've been into making water levels with extreme spike obstacle courses. They're annoying, but you just can't stop trying... Hell they took me about 15-20 tries before I beat them myself in order to upload them.

Yeah, there are a lot of crap levels on there.. lots of really easy short ones where people just write messages with coins and stuff. Just find people that you like and follow them.. There's this 17 year old kid from France right now who is the top course maker.. His courses are pretty damn good.

I just tend to like challenging levels that seem like they could have actually been in a real Mario game.

Ye, I'd say that's a good example. We made a castle called "Eureka's Castle" that has a section that if you don't find the hidden propeller hats requires you to do a running string of triple jumps, bounce off a flying turtle into a wall jump to get to the exit pipe.

I'm going to add all of you later on today when I get on the Wii U. I was thinking though, I wonder if they could make a homebrew Mario Maker for the NES. That would be cool.

I love Mario Maker. My Wii U ID is jplusip. I've made 19 levels so far (two 9 level series and one random level), but unfortunately I only have 10 stars, so... only 10 of my possible 19 levels are uploaded at the moment. I hope to change this in a week though when I start my next series, which will be considerably easier (the first two series are, according to my wife, "brutal to the point of not being fun"; I, of course, disagree, as I find them very fun).

Here is the course Id for our ghost house "Boos And Bones" (her naming choice) 1c2a-0000-0063-5406. There are 4 secrets, each required to get to the next one.

Eureka's Castle was a really good one, too.

Great! Glad you liked them. A lot of play testing an tweaking goes into them. I beat both of your levels. They are brutal man. Had to star them just for that. The swim mechanics make it so easy to screw up in a narrow corridor. The star was a godsend in Widow Maker.
