I think the important thing was that the site got enough cash to survive rather then me getting some fancy image.

I paid up as soon as I saw the plight unfold on the day that it first came to light, never thought about anything else other than helping out.

...No license = No site = No one I know wanted that to happen

...I can't believe anyone would donate to get a title!

...The fact is that ASSEMbler himself offered to reward people, no one demanded, it was purely a 'fun' thing from him, since when has 'fun' been classed as lamenting?

I don't think anyone would donate just to get recognition (or a custom title, for that matter). We donated because we wanted the site to stay up. I didn't wish for a reward in any way. The reward we got for donating is that site is still up and running.

Edit: I need sleep - that paragraph looks horrible...

Sorry to bring this one up from the depths, but as a newish member I wasn't around when the site was originally in trouble. That said however, I would be more than willing to donate to the ASSEMbler cause if funds are still required either now or in the future - it would just be my way of saying thanks.
