Yeah, TGS is the one place where the "look for the gaijin" trick just fucking doesn't work. You pussies aren't going to the Jamma Show the weekend before?

That sounds like a challenge. I may just have to fly there and prove that I am in fact a man.

If it means missing out on the latest Kancho simulator, then yeah, I'm a pussy.

As the resident bitcher, I will have to break out the excit-o-meter table:

Games that get me excited at the AM Show: 1.5 (Death Smiles -- big wood, Mamoru-ku...I'll check out)
TGS: Same as the last 3 or 4... a big fucking donut. There is simply nothing coming out on a console that warrants standing in line, ass to cock for hours. I can't wait for the year when I'm proven wrong.

went to tgs on saturday and it didn`t seem so crowded to me.
there were lots of people, but the area wasn`t overcrowded. waited for about 30 minutes at the entrance.
nights on wii and ninja gaiden on ds were interesting.
i almost bursted out laughing while watching the ninja gaiden 2 demo on xbox. apart from the cho aniki series, i`ve never seen such a gay-looking protagonist in a video game.

all in all, i wasn`t totally impressed, but it still was time well spent.

wanted to go to hey arcade on sunday morning aswell but arrived at about 3:30 pm.
just had a quick look before i left.

"Not so crowded" - bugger me. 4 hours for mgs. 4 hours for Star Ocean - until they stopped letting people even join the end of the line! I admit my average wait was 40-60 mins but still, you should be able to get advance tickets online or something. + the Square cinema was sold out 5 mins after opening. + Level 5 did not have enough space at their booth for ppl to wait.

Not bitching - the show was good enough. Arino from Game Center CX with Miyamoto on stage did it for me! But they should rethink the way the show is run given the popularity for certain stuff.

Oh and by the way GaijinPunch, went back to Hey on Monday. No line, managed to grab all the OST I wanted, that Ibara book, Pink Sweets arcade pack, Ketsui pack and some other odds and ends. Lucked out!

Yeah -- nice one. The only things that people got stiffed on were the yoko Futari poster and the DDP & Ketsui shirts. I got a Ketsui one. No clue why I didn't get a DDP one. Probably b/c I hate game shirts.

I got home and was missing two CDs. They're going to mail them to me though, so I'm not too burned.
