Nope. The PS3 stores the saves on the HDD. You need an adaptor to copy PS2/PS1 memory cards to the PS3 HDD, but from then on the PS3 saves the game to the HDD and not the memory card. The problem with the memory card adaptor is you pay $15 for about 10 minutes of use. Once you have copied all you saves to the PS3 there is little use for it. However, you could always eBay one. I paid $8 for mine inc shipping.
is there some driver to use the Adaptor with a PC? can the adaptor physically write to the mem-cards?! (although i know the ps3 only reads it, no read and write access)
I've had zero issues with any of the recent updates. My first run Elite console has been running like a champ.
The update did not cause my Xbox 360 to explode, kill my dog, and burn my house down. Instead it just plays 360 games. I'm not sure what's wrong with it. I remember people saying the same problem of an update killing their systems when Dead Rising came out.
I guess the X360 is like a box of chocolates: you never know when an update is going to bring Forrest Gump to your house so he can sodomize you with a ping pong paddle. Poetic, I know...
everyone's gonna hate me, I know... got three (3) Xbox 360, one Pal, one US and... a Pal Falcon^^ the first two are xenon, and the Pal Xenon was bought on the European release date. Not a single freeze, nor ROD on any of them. this is probably a matter of lucK. I'm surprised with this topic: ROD on Xenon (and Zephyr too...) is quite common, but it's kinda rare on falcon. Man, you're unlucky to say the least !
Well it probably helps to coat your 360 in a fairly thick layer of peanut butter. It scares away the RROD spirits trying to get into your 360.
Haha, funny. The newer models are supposed to be a lot more reliable though. They just need another price drop, which I am sure is coming.
It better does: it been almost 3 years already and no serious price cuts yet. Even sony shaved $100 off the PS3 MSRP.
