Anyone get Gears of War 2 or Resistance 2 yet?

I don't think they dismissed it so much as they pirated it or didn't buy it because they heard about all the crashes and other problems people had with it.

 

Not completed it yet but Gears 2 has an awesome moment about Maria. Cliffy may not of completely grasped romance, but the emotion in that cutscene was awesome.

 

I guess. A lot of the strictly PC only bums I'm friends with said it had tons of problems at launch, particularily with GFW. You had to manually download the patch was the solution to most of it though. But usually conversations about it end with "it's just a stupid console port so whatever." Before it came to PC and they bought it brand new? "It's just a stupid console game." This is just the people I know of course but still. I thought it was cool on the PC...it was about the same but since it was the newer version of UE it looked a little nicer and ran a little smoother. Lot's of little screw ups though and sometimes the FPS went wild.
