I do play it with the hori stick and it plays like a dream. I might consider getting a 2nd one for other fighting games. It's funny that even though you might have like 4th dan in quest, it doesn't transfer over to online. Pretty much online your rank is recorded separately.
True, although it was fairly random. It was sometimes really stable, and sometimes less then 5 frames a second. All depended on the connection of the people in the lobby. Anywho, I might pick it up sometime. I never picked up the PS3 version, and the 360 version looks like it is shaping up pretty well.
Yes they do actually, but they' ve accepted me the way I am and no longer oppose my passion for games. You can do better than replying with a question though, show some initiative mate
=) No need to be so defensive, it wasn't a trick question. What's the version difference between the PS3 and XBOX versions though? What fine-tuned mechanics are different? Wouldn't the PS3 version be able to update to the latest mechanics thru an online update?
This is the consensus. Go to virtuafighter.com and do a quick search... basically you would want to find differences between Ver B. and Ver C in the arcade. Differences are traditionally a bunch of tweaks to frames and damage. Even changing something by a frame is major if you're a strong player.
I might get into VF5, if time permits. The Demo really reminded me of the time that I should have sat my ass down and learnt VF2. As a proficient Super Smash Bros Melee and Soul Calibur II player I completely understand the issue of frames and damage. Your whole strategy might be messed up if moves are out of sync! I imagine that a PS3 players playing on a 360 against his mate (both using the same arcade joysticks) will have a hard time adopting What Arcade controller would you recommend for VF5 on the 360 btw?
