well im now out on the lookout for a lotus... sweepstake anyone for how long i last b4 i end up in hospital.........
I'll be nice here, so refrain from saying ignorant comments that clearly shows your ignorance. And if you're saving up for a Porsche, you can't afford it.
Bah Vipers, sure they look pritty good. But they drive terrible, almost every american car drives like shit. First drive a Porsche 911 GT3 and then drive some shitty american car and you'll know what I mean.
You don't know jack shit about cars. If you want, you can play around with your little Porsche toys, but when you grow up and want a true racing experience get a Saleen S7, or Mosler MT900 Photon, or Ford GT or, a Vector.
You know, I've never met anyone outside of the states who likes US cars in that they would rather have a viper etc. over a "foreign car". Not trying to say anything here, just an observation
Seems to me since vipers hit the road course they have had a winnning record. IN 98 - 2000 they finished 1-2 in the gts class and in 200 won the rolex 24 hours of Daytona. For our chevy fans lets not forget 2004 GTS standings: Chevy Saleen Dodge than lamborghini Sounds like shitty American cars are not doing to bad
...The Viper has always been a quality machine, you bung a V10 truck engine in a lightweight chassis, voila!, Job done ;-)
They are not doing bad, but american cars just handle really really bad. It's like your driving a brick. Porsche, Lotus etc. just handle alot better. It's not just about a big V10 engine and a chassis, the Viper maybe faster on a straight way but the Porsche kicks viperass on a racing track.
I wouldn't say that...I have raced 930 turbos before in my cuda and smoked them in turns. It comes down to the driver behind the wheel and if they know the pros and cons of the car they are driving. The reality is with a number of european cars is that if you buy them you are buying American, Chrysler owns Benz and I believe ford owns Jaguar. I thought there were more aquisitions over the last years but I just do not remember off the top of my head
Yep, Ford owns Jaguar, Aston Martin, Volvo, and Land Rover. DaimlerChrysler owns Mercedes-Benz and Maybach. And GM owns Saab, Opel, and Vauxhall.
I have a well sorted Mazda Rx7 twin turbo with approximately 450bhp and it handles as well as it goes. I have pissed on a popular German marque a couple of times!!!
