I've been bored recently, and I need some Singleplayer games to play. I'm just going to make a list of games that I don't want to play because either A) Already beat it B) really boring. If you don't see a game on the list, please please please post the name so I can go out and get it. Games I've Beaten/Don't want to play -Elder Scroll Series (Boring) -Mass Effect Series (Boring) -Bioshock Series (Beat them all like 4 times, even Bioshock Infinite) -Assassin's Creed series (Beat it) -Halo Series (Beat it) -Grand Theft Auto IV (Beat it) -Minecraft (Worst game on Xbox) -The Darkness Series (Beat it) -Just Cause Series (Boring) -Saints Row Series (Beat it)
Lost Odyssey. Though you found Mass Effect and Elder Scrolls boring, so you may just hate RPGs. If that's the case, then... Dark Souls.
I'll give Lost Odyssey a look. I actually don't hate RPGs, RPGs are one of my favourite game genres. I just think Mass Effect and Elder Scroll games are just boring and repetitive. I've played Dark Souls to death, but it is a good game. I tried that out before, never found myself playing it again.
Burnout Paradise You know current gen is problem when people start asking what good single player games are.
Bayonetta, DMC Devil May Cry 4 Shadows of the Damned Lollipop Chainsaw Ninja Gaiden II Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor's Edge ANY of the Shmups
Singularity has a fantastic story line. thats a great game also Mafia 2 is amazing. really get into the story
I loved LA Noir however it's one of those love it or hate it games. Red Dead Redemption is also a fantastic 1 player game. That's another I loved and it's pretty long too.
Batman: Arkham City just an exceptional game. Captures the essence of Batman perfectly. Decent plot, superb mechanics, nice blend of combat, detection, puzzle solving and traversing the environment. In addition there is a ton of content. 400 Riddler Trophies for example. You can ignore them or try to collect the. All. They range from the simple to the ingenious. Lots of optional side missions and if you get the Game of the Year edition an absolute ton of extra content including lots if challenge maps as well as all the DLC such as Harley Quinn's Revenge. Pretty cheap now too. Honestly I can't recommend it highly enough and if you still need persuading the fact it hasn't got. Multi-player element to it should - I.e. it has been designed purely as a single player experience. The first Darksiders is a good shout too. Not played it myself but know lots of people who thoroughly enjoyed it. Apparently Metal Gear Rising Reveangence is good too.
I had good fun with Ninety Nine Nights, it's a little repetitive, perfect after a stressful day at work. I also enjoyed Project Sylpheed only good if you like Wing Commander style games.
Gears of War titles are dirt cheap (Well, 1 and 2 are 2.99 and 4.99 at GameStop, respectively). I figure they're at least worth that! I've been having some fun playing the first one.
DMC, Tomb Raider, NFS Most Wanted 12 (does have a lot of online only features though), Portal 2, Orange Box, Red Dead Redemption, Limbo, Super Meat Boy
Lost Planet Colonies is dirt cheap. Heck if you don't care the box/manual are Japanese, import that pack with Ace Combat 6 for easily under $10.
