Anyone supporting Shadow of the Eternals kickstarter? (Eternal Darkness sequel)

Eternal Darkness is IMHO the best horror games I've played. Having to keep it's character mentally sane really added somethings to the genre.

So I was happy to find out the original teams is working to get financing for doing a spiritual sequel for PC/WiiU/PS4. (Under a new studio name, since Silicon Knights bankrupt after some legal problem with their previous game engine provider).

They are quite far from their goal unfortunately, I'm wondering if they will make it.

Anyone here pledged?? I've put 250$ myself.

Campaign to get unreleased game beta always work well here at ASSEMbler, this is actually an opportunity to get an unreleased game completed ;)

Will jump in right before the end of the Kickstarter, basically. Need to see how my money situation is then. Totally want to see this thing get done. (But, man, they've been through a bumpy road!)

They've even got David Hayter on as the main voice lead but it seems they wont meet the goal. Shame as it seems quite a lot of work has gone into getting it at a beta state at least.

Yeah, they sued Epic claiming that the Unreal Engine 3 didn't work and/or was so poorly documented it was unusable. The problem with claiming that was that a lot of other people seemed to have no problems making games with it. The bigger problem was that after they terminated the license agreement they apparently took a large amount of Unreal source code, removed the Epic copyright statements, and carried on using it. That was what the judgement was about. That was also why they had to destroy all their unsold product built with their supposed in-house engine.

I'll likely raise my pledge if they are near succeeding at the end.

I'm quite curious to see at the end if the last few day of pledge will be enough to raise the last 2/3 of founding required.
